Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains how payments are displayed and processed when you place an order with PawKoda through pawkoda.com.

Accepted payment methods

Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods supported by Shopify. Availability can vary by device, location, and checkout settings.

Currency and order total

Prices for Canadian customers are displayed and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless another currency is clearly shown at checkout. Before you submit payment, checkout will show the product subtotal, applicable taxes, discounts, shipping charges, and final order total.

When payment is charged

Your payment method is authorized or charged when you complete checkout. An order is not confirmed until payment is accepted and you receive an order confirmation. We may cancel or place an order on hold if payment cannot be verified, the transaction is flagged for review, or product availability changes before fulfilment.

Payment security

Payments are processed through Shopify and its approved payment providers using encrypted connections. PawKoda does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code. Payment providers may process your information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Declined or failed payments

A payment may be declined by your bank or payment provider. Check that your card details and billing address are correct, try another available method, or contact your provider. PawKoda cannot override a decline made by a bank or payment service.

Billing information

You agree to provide current and accurate billing, contact, and payment information. We may contact you if additional verification is reasonably required to prevent fraud or correct an order issue.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy. After PawKoda processes a refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.
